100 Happy Days - 41 - 45

41. We received these BEAUTIFUL invitations to Hello Dodo's wedding!

42. I went down to Birmingham to see Power of Scotland compete at the Men's Roller Derby World Cup. It was amazing! This is a photo of the excellent Ninjapan dropping their jammer panty on the floor. Noooo!

43. The Wizards of Aus definitely won the hilarious team name prize. You shall not pass!

44. Chi, that's MY water!

45. My boyfriend definitely needs one of these Vinyl Indie Merit Badges. His record collection is massive!

100 Happy Days - 36 - 40

36. I was hanging out the washing and this wee guy popped up out of nowhere and I almost died of fright!

37. We went to see The Book Thief at the Grosvenor Cinema, it was great; I got to sit in a comfy chair, eat millions of popcorn and drink wine.

38. Making some pretty jewellery and taking some pretty pictures always makes my day.

39. Caley and I manning the merchandise stall for Glasgow Roller Derby! Caley got a Unikitty keyring and this is how excited we were when we discovered it lit up.

40. I went out wearing my favourite necklace (its from Monsieur Monsteur but her online shop is currently out of stock) and my favourite lipstick.

100 Happy Days - 31 - 35

I seem to have stopped using the hashtag for some reason (probably just forgetful) but that doesn't mean I'm not having a nice time.

31. Chi has decided that what she really wants is to eat what I'm eating. Pretty much all the time. Mini Eggs = Not For Cats.

32. My most excellent friend Sam came round after my night shift and brought DOUGHNUTS! Krispy Kreme doughnuts! Yay!

33. I went out for breakfast with my boyfriend after my last night shift to Tribeca, which usually has great pancakes, but they'd ran out. This was sad, but I ended up with some pretty amazing French Toast instead.

34. I love making these glittery Cat Necklaces. There's something about glitter acrylic that makes me happy!

35. The amazing Hungry Designs sent me this Derby Brooch as part of the Vivid Please Snail Mail Trade. Its so cool!

100 Happy Days - 26 - 30

I'm loving all my happy days! I'm also really enjoying seeing other people's photos, it's so nice seeing everyone's happy moments.

26 - I finally received my copy of Preacher Book 3 in the post. I think it's too scary for poor wee Chi though!

27 - It's a great week for post, look at these amazing bright blue shoes I bought in the sale from London Rebel. So pretty! Comfortable too, yus. Chi was more interested in the box, she was sliiiightly too big to fit into it, but it was funny watching her try.

28 - I was reminiscing about how cute Chi was when she was a kitten and I found this photo of her! Oh my god, LOOK at her tiny little face!!

29. I'm super excited about our new Jellyfish Stud Earrings!

30. I am completely addicted to Disco Zoo, probably the most ridiculous iPhone game ever. But LOOK! Unicorns!!

Jellyfish Stud Earrings

These little guys are the most recent addition to my online shop and I LOVE them! They're so tiny and I can't decide whether the pink or lilac version is my favourite. I experimented with cutting them in iridescent acrylic (which is probably the coolest thing ever) but they were too small and fragile for that type of acrylic and their little legs (tendrils? tentacles??) kept breaking off. Noooo!

I'm thinking about making some mirrored acrylic versions, probably in mirrored pink and maybe purple too. Any other suggestions?

100 Happy Days - 21 - 25

21 - After I finished my run of 4 night shifts I met my boyfriend for a brunch date at Kember and Jones for these amaaaazing waffles.

22 - I cheated a bit and used a video for day 22. I went to the Power of Scotland vs. New Wheeled Order (Scotland vs. Manchester) men's roller derby bout: it was so exciting!!

23 - This wee guy found my stash of make-up sponges and chewed EVERY SINGLE ONE. Look at her cute little face though, I can't be angry with her. Awww.

24 - We had some people round to watch some truly awful films and eat vast quantities of popcorn. I love movie night!

25 - Another quiet night in, but this time with my boyfriend, Chi the cat and this tub of frozen yoghurt. Its so good!

Commissions

I've recently been lucky enough to be asked to make some super fun commission pieces for a couple of lovely ladies from Glasgow Roller Derby!

Five Star Sylk requested a fairly self-explanatory "Sylk" with 5 stars at the top, in her favourite football team's colours.

She also requested a secret surprise birthday present for Phoenix Fatale. I drew this flame-based design and showed it to Sylk (who loved it, phew!). I had both designs laser cut in mirror acrylic on a black background which has really helped the designs stand out.
