Fancy Handmade Shoes

I've been pretty disappointed with high street shoes recently, apart from a couple of lovely pairs they've all been quite uninspiring. So I started checking out handmade and hand painted shoes and discovered this wonderful lot.

Red Fox Shoes @ Em & Sprout
Probably the cutest shoes I've ever seen. I don't think I'd be able to wear these outside, I'd feel sorry for the foxes being all cold on the ground and looking up at me with that pitiful expression. Squeak.

Brains Shoes @ Aisha Voya Dolls
Zombie inspired brains ballet flats covered in pink glitter which is covered in resin to make it stay put. So shiny! And who doesn't love zombies.

Octopus Stilettos @ Pony Chops
Amazingly detailed hand painted shoes - it's like buying your own unique piece of art. But for your feet.

Red T-bar Flats @ Golden Ponies
As these beautiful shoes are entirely handmade you can pick the colour, size and material - they even come in gold. They are all made to order and they come in half sizes (hurrah!) for those with stubbornly half way feet. These look so comfortable!

Vintage Stamp Ballet Flats @ Merlo Designs
These flats are covered in pretty vintage stamps and have a cute little twine bow! Most of Merlo Designs shoes are made to order and each pair of stamp shoes is unique so no one at the party will have the same shoes as you. Also, the profits from the shoes go to local families in need; saving the world one awesome pair of shoes at a time.

They are so lovely! My only problem is that my feet are a bit on the strange and deformed side so I'm concerned that I won't be able to try them on until I've bought them. As many are handmade to order, they can't accept returns so I might just be admiring them from afar for the moment. Weep.
